Dominica

The Commonwealth of Dominica is one of the islands in the Caribbean, with 290km2 area and more than 70 000 people living there. RoseauSmall but beautiful and charming Roseau with the same name river is the capital of Dominica, and was founded in the 17th century by the French. It is located on the Caribbean coast and is the main port of Dominica. Some of the buildings were built during the colonization of the French, the rest are modern local architecture. There are many things to see, like numerous monuments and buildings of architecture from colonial times. Roseau is a lovely place with botanical gardens, hot springs, waterfalls and a variety of tropical fruits. Also, there are many tennis courts and basketball courts.
